Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to OTSafeTrade, a privately operated hobby project (“we”, “our”, “the platform”). By accessing or using this website, you (“you”, “user”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

OTSafeTrade is not a company and does not provide commercial or financial services. All users must be 18 years or older to register or use the platform.

2. Nature of the Service

OTSafeTrade provides a community platform for listing, discussing, and reviewing trades of Tibia/OT-related digital goods. All trades occur outside the platform and are conducted solely between users.

We do not:

• handle payments, money, or escrow of any kind
• mediate user disputes beyond account moderation
• verify the authenticity of characters or listings
• guarantee successful trades
• offer refunds
• assume legal or financial responsibility for user transactions

All use of the platform and all dealings with other users occur entirely at your own risk.

3. User Responsibilities

By using OTSafeTrade, you agree to:

• Provide truthful registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Not use bots, automation tools, VPNs, proxies, or anonymization services.
• Not create more than one account.
• Not impersonate other users, scammers, or staff.
• Not use stolen payment methods in any transactions.
• Behave respectfully toward other users.

4. Reputation System

Users may give one single reputation point (+rep or -rep) to any other user. Reputation is public and displays:

• the sender’s username
• the sender’s total reputation score
• the sender’s account age when rep was given
• the date the rep was submitted

Reputation cannot be removed except in cases of rule violation.

5. Dispute System

You may open disputes for community awareness only. A dispute may result in account suspension or termination of the reported user.

A dispute does not:

• guarantee an investigation
• ensure refunds or recovery of lost assets
• serve as proof of ownership

We are not responsible for outcomes of disputes between users.

6. KYC / Identity Verification

Users may optionally verify their identities. KYC involves submitting:

• ID document images
• full legal name

KYC data is stored as long as the account is active. Upon account deletion, KYC data is deleted within 30 days.

Only the platform owner has access to KYC material. Requesting deletion of KYC data requires permanent account closure.

7. Termination of Accounts

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including:

• rule violations
• suspected scamming
• abuse of the platform
• inappropriate behavior

We may terminate accounts without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OTSafeTrade assumes no responsibility for:

• scams or fraudulent users
• lost money, lost accounts, or stolen property
• incorrect or misleading listings
• damages arising from trades or communication between users
• technical outages or security breaches

You use the platform entirely at your own risk.

9. No Warranty

The platform is provided “as is” with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, availability, or security.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
